Four Major Categories: Writing, Video, Audio and Multi Modal

- Entries are welcomed in either English or French for all categories.

1. Writing includes fiction and non-fiction, and is open to any genre.
   - A maximum length of 1500 words for secondary and 600 words for elementary entries.
2. Video includes documentary, dramatic and animated short films
   - A maximum of 10 minutes length
3. Audio includes music and narrative productions
   - A maximum of 10 minutes length
4. Multi Modal includes any work with some combination of text, images and sounds: examples include website, photo essay, picture book, podcast with pictures, comic strip, newspaper, poster, etc.
   - A maximum of 10 pages in length
