We have a strong and healthy volunteer program in the areas of reading, second language acquisition, field trips, noon hour programs, library, yearbook and general classroom help.

As a school we are the proud recipient of environmental awards, certificates from Terry Fox, certificates from the Pacific Path Path organization, as well as trophies from Math and sports competitions.

Our Plans For The Future

Sherbrooke Elementary has undergone tremendous growth over the last five years. We are committed to graduating life-long learners who can function in both official languages. Strategies are regularly implemented to enhance the learning and educational environment in our school through our Educational Project and our Success Plan.

We will continue to enhance the Quebec education program, Language and Social Skills training, the Enhanced Learning Strategy, enhanced Mathematics, Music and Arts Programs, and quality Physical Education. We will encourage critical thinking and adapt classroom programs to meet the needs of all students, and as a school team, we will continue to monitor our assessment results, reflect on our practices and engage in professional development.
