As we near the end of the 2010 school year, I
would like to let you all know that it has been lots of fun and hard work at
Season’s Greetings and Best Wishes for the New
Year!
Friday
- December 3rd, 2010 Volleyball Tournament: This event was held at Massey-Vanier High
School on Friday and our A Girls brought home the plaque, as well as our K1
Boys Team. Thank you to Mr. McKelvey,
Mme. Ferland, M. Lemaître and Ms. Gibbs for coaching and for everyone who came
out and cheered our teams along!!

Christmas Concert:
We are pleased to invite you to our 2010 Christmas
Concert held in the Gym at
Friday, December 17th:
Christmas Dinner will be
served at a cost of only $2.00 instead of $4.50. Please note that no other
food will be on sale that day – students should bring snacks from home. In order to guide numbers for food
preparation, please send payment for Christmas Dinner by Monday, December 13th. Payment should be in an envelope clearly
identified with your child’s name, homeroom and “Christmas Dinner”.
Again this year, we are able
to decrease the cost due to generous donations from different
organizations. Thank You!!
December 20th- Church Service:
Knowlton
Academy Students and Staff will be walking to the Anglican Church for a
Christmas Celebration. More information will follow.
December 21st, - Pancake Breakfast:
We will welcome in the holidays with our annual
Pancake Breakfast. In the interest of
the environment, please have your child bring in a plate, fork and cup in a bag
that they can bundle up after breakfast and take back home to wash. Volunteers are still needed and if you are
able to help, please call the office at 450-243-6187. Similarly, donations of syrup would also be
greatly appreciated.
At
Food Bank Donations – We will continue to collect
donations for our local food bank until Friday, December 17th. Please drop items off in the boxes outside
the office.
Lost & Found – Please take note that all
unclaimed items from the Lost & Found will be collected and donated to
Charity after December 21st .
We will welcome students back to school on Thursday,
January 6, 2011. Please continue to check your
child’s head regularly over the holidays.
There will be a school wide “Head Check” in January as a means of
preventing any possible spread of lice following the extended vacation.
