Homestay families are chosen based upon their desire to host a visiting student and their ability to provide a safe, caring, comfortable home that ensure a positive cultural experience for you.
The International Student Program (ISP)’s homestay coordinator is responsible for fully screening families. You will be provided with a furnished room and three nutritious meals a day, within a wholesome environment. You will be matched based on common interests and will be invited to participate in day-to-day activities as a new member of the family.
Your homestay coordinator will also visit you on a regular basis, to ensure that you are adapting well into your new environment.

We can not imagine a greater gift than the gift of love and that is exactly what we give and receive in return with each child... It has been a wonderful learning experience for our entire family, we have grown as individuals and our family has become even closer. Sharing our home, our life and our culture with these students brings us to appreciate the differences in the cultures of our world. We truly believe that our lives have been enriched by each and every student that has become one of our own during their stay and will forever be a cherished member of our family.
