March 13, 2020
As you have probably already heard in the media, as of Monday March 16th, all schools across Quebec will be closed for a period of two weeks, or until further notice. This means that all ETSB schools, including daycare services, will be closed until Friday March 27th. We realize that this closure will bring with it some challenges, but this decision has been taken in the best interest of all students, staff and our communities as a precautionary measure, as identified by the Santé Publique.
Furthermore, all school-related activities (parent-teacher interviews, sporting events, cultural events, etc.) have been cancelled for the next two weeks.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the measures to take to avoid the spread of the Covid-19 virus:
To avoid spreading germs – The best precautions to protect yourself and the people around you from this and other viruses, are to wash your hands often, and cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your arm when you cough or sneeze. Should you experience any symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing), you should immediately contact Info-Santé at 1-877-644-4545.
Please visit the ETSB website for more information and resources.

We ask that you monitor your emails as well as our website and Facebook page for updates and future information concerning your child’s school. We will keep you informed with information that we receive from the government.
Thank you for your collaboration,
Interim Director General
